Bennett didn’t have an easy time of it but his contribution to Wilco and the band’s landmark record, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot was magnificent.

Tonight on Whole Wide World Rita’s got her desk loaded with new music, and has not stopped talking about Jenni Muldauer who has a new album, and is currently on touring as a back-up singer with David Byrne. New music by K’NAAN from a rapper from Mogadishu, and of course Allen Toussaint will be on to talk about his new album The Bright Mississippi. It’s tonight at 7 PM.

Phoenix made a trip to the Bronx to perform an acoustic set and talk about their 4th studio album “Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix” on WFUV with Alisa Ali. Check out additional videos from the session (1901, Playground Love) here.
